FIRING DRYING UNITS AT A LOW PRICE
LE Lignite Energy by Rheinbraun Brennstoff (RBB) is a low-cost source of energy for direct-fired drying units. LE Pulverized makes companies in energy-intensive sectors immune to volatility on the gas and oil markets.
RBB has developed unique expertise in industrial drying processes across a wide range of different sectors over the course of decades of working together with its customers at a corporate and individual level. RBB develops tailor-made direct firing solutions for a range of applications, including in the construction industry, the feed industry, and for plaster and expanded clay producers.
The benefits of these solutions will help to give our customers a lasting competitive advantage.

CONSISTENTLY HIGH NET CALORIFIC VALUE
Its high level of volatile matter, consistent grain size and consistently low water content give LE Pulverized a high and constant net calorific value. Optimal burning characteristics make for energy-efficient industrial drying processes.
SIMPLE AND SAFE TO USE
LE Pulverized is easy and safe to use in closed systems. In fact, it is just as simple to use as an oil-powered system.
HIGH CONTROL SPEED
Combustion plants for LE Pulverized have a high control speed. That means they are also ideal for drying raw materials with various feed qualities.
PROFITABLE FROM 2 MW
LE Pulverized is profitable from a furnace thermal rating of 2 MW thanks to its low price.
MEETS STATUTORY EMISSIONS GUIDELINES
The low ash and sulphur content of LE Pulverized makes compliance with statutory emissions an easy task.
PROVEN TECHNOLOGY
WITH A LOW SPACE REQUIREMENT
LEP furnaces require little space. Existing heating oil or natural gas-fired combustion systems can be converted to Lignite Energy using standardized parts and without major expenditure. The investment will pay for itself in a few short years.
LEP combustion units basically consist of a burner along with standardized silo, feeding and conveyor units. The smallest pulverized fuel silo unit has a capacity of 120 m³. That equates to around 60 tonnes of LE Pulverized, which itself produces the same amount of energy as almost 40,000 litres of heating oil. This size of silo is often sufficient to ensure a secure supply of fuel. If demand is particularly high, larger silos, or several silos, can be installed.
